Academic Event Services referred to as AES provides event management services to conference organisers. As part of that activity AES operates a number of web sites and portals and collects conference registration payments subject to the following terms and conditions. By accessing and using this website you acknowledge that you have read these conditions and agree, without limitation, to be bound by them.
At AES we are committed to the protection of personal information provided to us. We believe that respect for your privacy forms part of the ongoing trust we wish to develop with you. The site and the data in it are supplied solely for informational use. Apart from permitted uses under the Copyright Act 1968, and, except for the temporary copy held in your computer’s cache and downloading for private use, no part of the material or data contained in this site may be reproduced, altered, transmitted or re-used for any purpose whatsoever without the written permission of AES.
All content included as part of the AES website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and all software used on this site, is the property of AES or its suppliers and protected by Australia and international copyright laws. You agree to abide by all copyright notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.
Each third-party content provider owns the copyright on content original to it including, without limitation, on the images, articles and other publications delivered or otherwise made available to you by the AES service (the “Publications”). Except as permitted by the Publication’s lawful owner, you acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material.
Except as explicitly permitted under copyright law and by the features of the AES website, you may not modify, reverse engineer, publish, transmit, display, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way commercially exploit or provide to a third party the content of the AES website, the Publications, or any portion of them without the express permission of AES and the copyright owner.

Any dated information included in this site is current at the date of publication only, and we will not have any obligation or responsibility to update or amend such information.

Links to Third-Party Websites
Links to other websites may be provided from this site. In those circumstances we have no control over the content of those third party websites. We make no express warranties concerning the content of those other sites. In particular we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or reliability of those sites for a particular purpose, nor do we warrant that such sites or their content are accurate, complete, and current or free of defects including but not limited to, viruses or other harmful elements. Goods and Services Tax
AES adds Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) to purchases according to Australian Law. Australain Law states that if a service (a conference) is delivered primarily within Australia then the provider must charge Australain Goods and Services Tax and provide a Tax Invoice regardless of where in the world the registration payment was made from.
Credit Card Cost Recovery Fee
We pass on the fee the credit card processing gateway and associated banking system charge us. We make this explicit along with any local taxes rather then hiding them in your registration fee.
We welcome enquiries or feedback on AES, its products or any ideas you may have. Unless specifically stated by you we shall treat any information you provide us with, as non-proprietary and non-confidential.
